Peter (Pete) Lynn Jr. A kite designer since childhood with experience designing, building, and flying (all over the world) every style of kite–from very large, inflatable, single-line kites to traction kites. An engineer and principal designer for Peter Lynn (Sr.) Kites, Pete has been a significant member of his father's kite development team. As the son of a kite designer, Pete speaks kiting as his mother tongue.

Saul Griffith An inventor since childhood whose earliest inventions included grappling hooks for tree-climbing, rocket-powered toy cars, and of course, kites.  At MIT Saul earned a PhD in building self-replicating machines and in folding 3-dimensional objects. One of the founders of the “do tank” Squid Labs, he invents cool new things for making the world a better place. He still builds kites, only now they are just much, much bigger. With his book, Howtoons, a cartoon guide to build-it-yourself projects, Saul seeks to spark the inventive powers of kids everywhere.

Chris Shultz General Manager of New Tech Kites, Smithsonian Institution Kite Festival Committee Member, and member of the TKO Sport Kite Team. Chris began his kiting career twenty years ago working as a professional kite flier and showman for Kitty Hawk Kites. Known as The King of Diamonds, Chris set a Kiting World Record in July 1993 for flying 51 (4-foot) diamond stunt kites simultaneously at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Chris has performed all over the world and has organized and assisted with many national and international kite festivals and competitions.
